Apple, Ginger & Kiwi Smoothie - Anti-Inflammatory

This easy Smoothie is simple, delicious and packed full of healthy anti-inflamatory ingredients...

This is a thick smoothie with added coconut yoghurt and is perfect for breakfast.

We've added some delicous ingredients;


  • Fresh Ginger - great for digestion and is said to have anti-inflamatory compounds.

  • Apple - rich in fibre which can aid digestion. Apple Pectin is also said to remove heavy metals from the body.

  • Kiwi - Can help maintain good gut health because of its Fibre and antioxidants.

  • Chia Seeds - High in fibre, antioxidants and Omega-3's.


We love this smoothie - it's fresh, full of flavour and packed full of goodness with ingredients said to help promote healthy guts and help reduce inflammation...


Also we added the recommended servings of Protein Powder & Collagen Powder. These of course are optional, however we like to add them to our Smoothies...

INGREDIENTS

Serves 1


  • 1x Apple (cored & roughly chopped)

  • 1x large Kiwi or 2 small (peeled)

  • 1 inch piece of fresh Ginger (peeled)

  • 2x tsp of Chia Seeds

  • 1x cup of Coconut Yoghurt

  • Dash of your favourite milk

  • Protein Powder (optional - recommended serving suggestion)

  • Collagen Powder (optional - recommended serving suggestion)


METHOD


Simply add all of the ingredients to a large jug and blitz together with a hand blender or add to a free-standing blender. Blitz until fully combined.

Pour into your serving glass and Enjoy!
