Giant Chocolate Orange Christmas Wreath Cookie

Updated: Oct 29, 2024

This is a fun and delicious festive recipe that the kids and adults will love this Christmas.

A scrumptious giant chocolate orange cookie, stuffed with chocolate orange chunks - So good! And then festively decorated with a delicious vibrant green vanilla buttercream, and topped with some fun bright coloured mini smarties, to help add to the fun Christmas Wreath decor.

A fun and extremely delicious cookie, that is sure to stand out at your next festive Christmas party or gathering.

The decorating is down to you, so get as creative as you fancy. We kept it fairly simple and used what we had to hand. However, you could have some extra fun by adding some star sprinkles, or create a decorative edible bow - strawberry laces are a great option for this.

Have fun with it, get as creative as you like, or keep it simple like us. Either way, it will still taste amazing.

When we made this, our plan was to get fancy and practice our piping skills, however that didn't quite go to plan. Our last pipping bag split within 30-seconds of using it, and we had to improvise with a freezer bag - haha!

We're still happy with how it turned out. It looks festive and fun, and the taste was delicious, which after all, is the main thing when baking.

We made this giant cookie a chocolate orange flavour, however you could adjust and add a different flavour of your choice;

  • White Chocolate & gingerbread spices

  • Plain chocolate chip

  • Mint Choc chip

Let's crack on with this festive recipe, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Happy baking!
