Homemade gifts are great, especially homemade edible gifts. This delicious homemade Chocolate Christmas Fudge, topped with cute mini gingerbread men and colourful Christmas sprinkles, makes a truly delightful gift

Anyone with a sweet tooth is sure to love, and enjoy this festive edible gift.

This easy homemade chocolate fudge is made using just 3 ingredients;

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • Milk Chocolate

  • Vanilla Extract

This is a super easy fudge recipe, and can be decorated with whatever you like. Because it's coming up to Christmas, we decided to decorate it with cute homemade mini gingerbread men, and Christmas sprinkles.

We love how cute and delicious this Christmas fudge turned out.

The fudge consistency is softer than shop bought, because it is not a traditional fudge recipe. This is a quick and easy fudge recipe, but we really like it.

This fudge is best kept in the fridge, especially if you live in a hot climate.

Let's delve into this delicious easy fudge recipe.

Happy Baking!

INGREDIENTS

  • 395g of Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 395g of Milk Chocolate

  • 2x tsp of Vanilla Extract

For the toppings

  • Mini Gingerbread Men - approx 8 - 10 (use as many as you like

  • Approx 1x tbsp of Christmas coloured Sprinkles (we used red, green & white)

METHOD

Line a 9 inch square tin with parchment paper and put to one side.

Add the condensed milk and chocolate to a medium sized saucepan and melt together on a low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the pan.

Once the chocolate has fully melted and combined with the condensed milk, remove from the heat.

Transfer the mixture to your lined tray and evenly smooth it with a silicone spatula.

Now have fun and add your toppings.

We like to add the gingerbread men first, by placing them flat on the fudge mixture, and pressing them so they are flush with the top of the fudge mixture.

Once you've added your gingerbread men, go ahead and add your sprinkles.

Place in the fridge for at least 4 hours to set, however over night is better.

Remove from the fridge and then slice into squares, and pop back in the fridge for an hour to help set the shape better.

Serve and enjoy!

We find it best to keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge to help keep it firm, as the heat can cause it to soften. If not then you can keep it in an airtight container in a cool, dark spot.

If gifting this to someone then be sure to keep it in the fridge until your ready to give it to them (especially if you live in a hot country) and recommend that they also store it in the fridge.
