How-To DIY Liquid Moisturising Hand Soap - made with Castile Soap, Castor Oil & Essential Oils

We don't know about you, but we are in the kitchen a LOT. Cooking, cleaning etc which means LOTS of hand washing. Unfortunately though, the excessive amount of hand washing has left our hands dried, and sometimes cracked and sore. Luckily though, we have found a solution which has helped repair and nourish our hands, leaving them soft and un-cracked - Yay! And that's not even the best part. We've managed to do it using ALL NATURAL ingredients. That's right! No TOXIC or HARMFUL CHEMICALS, ALL NATURAL!

This homemade liquid hand soap uses only 3 base ingredients:

  • Distilled, Filtered, or Boiled & Cooled Water.

  • Castile Soap - fragrant-free

  • Castor Oil

The added addition of Castor Oil really helps to moisturise and replenish your hands. Keeping your skin soft and nourished, which is exactly what we were after.

For added fragrance we do add in 15-20 drops of our favourite essential oils, too. We are currently using a mixture of 3 essential oils:

  • Italian Bergamot

  • Sweet Orange

  • Grapefruit

These 3 blends of essential oils give a really fresh, and summery scent - we love it!
