It's also super easy to make, plus, its super customisable in regards to flavouring it. However, today we will be sharing with you how to make a Basic Vanilla Butter-cream, which tastes fantastic with our, Basic Vanilla Sponge Cake Recipe


Equipment You Will Need:


  • A medium sized mixing bowl or your free-standing mixing bowl

  • A Sieve

  • Wooden Spoon / Electric Hand Whisk / Free-standing Mixer

  • Measurement scales


Ingredients You Will Need For A Basic Vanilla Butter-Cream Frosting:


  • 200g of Soft Room Temperature Butter

  • 380g of Sieved Icing Sugar

  • Capful of Vanilla Extract


How To Make A Basic Vanilla Butter-Cream Frosting:


Step1


Weigh out your Butter in your mixing bowl.


Step 2


In a separate bowl weigh out your Icing Sugar.


Step 3


Sieve your Icing Sugar into your butter bowl.


Step 4


Time to whisk together thoroughly until smooth and creamy. You can whisk together using a wooden spoon, electrical hand whisk, or free-standing mixer.


Step 5


Add in your Vanilla Extract and mix together again until evenly distributed through your mixture.


CONGRATULATIONS! Your Vanilla Butter-Cream Frosting is ready to use on your cake.
