Nom nom nom!

The great thing about this recipe is it's versatility. It works great with other meats such as beef and chicken and the spice level can be adapted to your taste buds. I like just a subtle kick of spice and have created this recipe the way I like it, however if you like things hot, go ahead and up the spice intake...

SPICY!!!

This recipe is sure to give your taste buds a FIESTA!

INGREDIENTS

serves 4-5 as a side dish

5x pork steaks

2x large cloves of garlic

1x 1 inch piece of ginger

1x small lemon ( juice only )

1 tbsp of honey

1 tsp of chilli paste

pinch of sea salt

pinch of black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

METHOD

Prep everything first.

Cut the pork steaks into strips.

Crush, peel and finely dice the ginger

Peel the ginger and chop into thin chipsticks.

Slice the lemon in half.

Add the oil to a large frying pan and heat on a high heat.

Add the pork and fry for 5 minutes - stir occasionally to ensure it's cooking on all sides.

Add the garlic, ginger, salt and pepper and mix well through the pork.

Turn to medium heat and fry for 3-4 minutes or until the pork is cooked.

Once cooked add the honey, lemon juice and chilli paste and work fast to mix and coat the pork, ensuring the honey doesn't burn. Cook for 1-2 minutes until everything looks glossy and sticky.

Serve and enjoy.
